I swear I’ll be brief.
When I write historical, prepare yourself for books that can be shared with even your most conservative-reader friends. Very little swearing. No on-page sex, and generally sweet stories. I do this under Jo Perry.
When I write young adult fiction, I write what I remember from those years. These books are not “clean”–there is language, on-page sex, and many use details from real-life cases my husband has worked as a prosecutor.
When I write contemporary fiction for adults…I write what I want. Some are sexier, some are less so. I always push to write issues, places, and careers that take me to places I either have experienced, or wish that I’d experienced. And some…that I hope to never experience. I walk the line between general fiction and romance when I write for adults.
You can find me on any major bookseller sites and some of my titles are in regular brick and mortar bookstores and local libraries as well.
